MURCHISON FALLS, UGANDA : A VISUAL JOURNEY ON FILM

Journey

{See Pt. 01 of the journey here.}

After a few days of sightseeing and relaxing at home in Kampala, we jumped in our Land Rover Defender and drove about 6 hours north, to beautiful Murchison Falls National Park. This is the largest national park in Uganda, is teeming with wild game, and has stunning scenery. Our days were spent driving through the endless savannah, taking in the beauty of the Nile River, eating huge, delicious meals, and drinking gin & tonics late into the evenings. We swam and relaxed poolside, drew closer to one another through laughter and rich conversation, and simply marveled at the beauty surrounding us. We each were so present and alive during those days, forgetting the stresses of life and embracing the adventure this amazing place offered. The fresh air, wide open spaces, and tranquility of untouched nature was all I hoped it would be….

Absolutely perfect.

Can’t get over how green Uganda is! The elephant photo has to be my favorite, such gorgeous colors.
